nurturing young minds.
At The Ranges Early Learning & Care Centres, we nurture each child’s strong potential for development in a warm and creative environment. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, our philosophy recognises every child as a unique individual, learning through exploration, expression, and relationships. Our educators bring warmth, care, and professionalism to every interaction, fostering curiosity, creativity, strong sense of self, and a lifelong love of learning.
We prioritise warm and authentic relationships with your child, practicing The Circle of Security, which positions your child to feel supported to reach their full potential.

Favourite things about working at The Ranges
One of my favourite aspects of working at The Ranges is the vibrant community we’ve built together. The joy on the children’s faces, the stories they share, and their milestones are what truly make this place special. It’s a privilege to witness their growth and celebrate their achievements alongside their families and my fellow educators.
Best things about working at The Ranges
The best part of my experience here has been getting to know the families. Over the past few years, I’ve had the honour of seeing siblings and cousins grow up, as well as welcoming new families into our community. Each connection enriches my work and fosters a sense of belonging that I cherish deeply.
Something personal
As a devoted father, I also enjoy participating as a parent volunteer, and my involvement as a Volunteer CFS member allows me to contribute to our community in meaningful ways. My passion for sports drives me to sponsor various local clubs, further demonstrating my commitment to community engagement. It’s rewarding to support initiatives that bring us all together!

The Adelaide Hills is a close-knit community, and the Family-Owned Ranges Childcare demonstrates this community spirit in all that it does as a business. This wonderful environment is incredibly beneficial for children, fostering a supportive and familiar atmosphere. A home away from home, where the children aren’t just numbers but seen and heard for the incredibly unique and remarkable individuals they are. To me, being part of the Ranges family isn’t work – it’s a privilege. The genuine connections we build with each child and their families make every day more rewarding than the last. It’s truly a joy to witness the growth and development of these incredible individuals, and to play a part in their lives within such a nurturing and supportive community.
Outside of work, I’m deeply passionate about being a mum to my amazing 7-year-old son. He keeps life vibrant and full of energy, and I cherish every moment we share together. I’m also a dedicated mental health advocate, always striving to support and uplift others in their journeys. And when it comes to unwinding, I’m all about not taking life too seriously – embracing the little joys and keeping a sense of humour about it all. Balancing family, advocacy, and a light-hearted approach to life keeps everything both fulfilling and fun, and my glass is always half full!!

Mentor & Administrative Coordinator
When starting at The Ranges I discovered I wasn’t just joining an Early Learning Centre, but that I was joining a family.
A family that values the Children as whole, who believes in and mentors their Educators and who works closely alongside their Families to achieve the most magical journey for their Children.
The Ranges is a unique home that we are developing and changing every single day to continue to deliver and uphold quality care and education for all Children.
The best part about The Ranges is that we are a close-knit family. By spending time at either our Infant Toddler Centre or our Early Learning Centre, I find myself surrounded by the same warmth and passionate approach, providing continuity amongst services.
I have worked in the Early Childhood Industry for fourteen years, and during this time I have developed an interest in photography. As I captured moments that families didn’t witness throughout their little one’s day I developed a passion. Since then, I’ve completed short photography courses which has allowed me to capture The Ranges annual individual and classroom group photos. A photo says a thousand words and I enjoy sharing this with our families.
Joining The Ranges family has been a wonderful journey to go on and we will be there every step of the way with you.

Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader
The Ranges has been my home away from home for the last 12 years. It has seen me through my teaching degree, through starting a family of my own and through all life’s things that happen along the way. Through this time, I’ve grown alongside of the business, sharing a vision and a passion to create an environment for children and families to feel the same sense of belonging and support that The Ranges has provided to me. It’s an environment of continuous growth motivated by the team’s passion for early learning and development led by advocates for children and childhood amongst a hub of support and education for families, children, and educators alike that has kept me connected to the business through all these years.

Best things about working at The Ranges
Honestly it’s the families I’ve been blessed to get to know. I have been there for 7 years now and I have seen children from the same families come through and it’s been a blessing to get to know siblings or cousins as well as getting to know new families.
Something personal
I have a husband, two children, a border collie at home I enjoy spending time with on the weekends either at the beach or the park. The beach is my happy place. After living in the desert for 7 years, I would always love visiting the beach when on holidays away from there. Having grown up in Sydney I love spending time when visiting there on the Northern Beaches.
